For the fourth year running, Canterbury Steiner School will be celebrating National Children’s Day UK! However this year we are also holding Kindness Day to further our engagement with Anti-bullying and Online Safety awareness, the focus of which is the wellbeing of children.
We would like to invite Parents and Friends of the community to our event on Friday the 12th of May starting at 3pm.
During the school day pupils will be taking part in creative activities, discussions and debates around the issues of bullying and online safety throughout the day.
At 2.30pm, the Safeguarding Lead, Victoria Cork will host an Online Safety Information Session for parents in the school theatre.
We would really like to encourage parents of …all pupils in the school to come and find out more about how to support children and young people in an increasingly ‘online’ world.
National Children’s Day UK
This year the theme will be ‘Well Being’.
There will be Afternoon teas served from the conservatory, a Maypole performance from class 5, with the opportunity for parents to have a go! Games and activities will be held in the back Garden for the Lower School.
The Upper school will be hosting a large game of Rounders on the field for class 6-11 and for any of the parents and teachers who would like to take part.
Please bring friends and family to enjoy the afternoon with us! For more information on the programme of events, please click here.
